Google announced on Wednesday that LTE compatibility is coming to the smartwatch.
And the first such device will be LG's latest Urbane device.
Posted on the official Android blog, cell support has arrived for Android Wear watches ending the necessity to tether the device to a smartphone.

Now smartwatches can handle calls at home or out and about using the same network a your phone.
